Advantage of PVT Solar Panel
Free Renewable Hot Water and Electricity: Our PVT solar panels enable single system that delivers both hot water and electricity.
Space Saving: Depending on the available space on roof for solar panels, you may choose either thermal system or solar PV.
Cooling: These panels are structured in cooler temperatures. The system output can be dropped by 0.5% when the outdoor temperature begins to increase over 25%.
Low Maintenance: Thermal panels and solar PV are low maintenance. Same goes for PVT solar system too.
How It Works
PVT solar panels are set up into the collectors where the fluid transmits. The transmission happens in the middle of plates and water cylinders.
The photovoltaic and thermal cells efficiently absorb sunray's heat. Then the produced warmth passes through solar thermal components.
Then, the generated fluid heats up and is used for multi-purposes. At the same time, the liquid will help the PVT panels calm, enabling them to work again more effectively.
Installation Techniques
PVT, or hybrid-type solar panel installation, has the same method as standard solar panels.
When you install them into the roof, there always have fixed hooks. It depends upon the panel location connected to the cladding. Ensure they are placed in horizontal aluminum rails.
PVT solar panels need a photovoltaic function line connected to the inverter, producing valuable energy. They also require pipes attached to the water tanks and different components.
You can also ask the Willson team for further installation requirements and expertise.
Produced Energy Capacity
solar PVT panels can have about 1500kWh / kilowatt peak yearly. That is equivalent to a 1000kWh current with about 500Wh heat range.
Since hybrid PVT panels generate more heat, it is essential to ensure the structure features. Choose the design that makes the produced energy be consumed to prevent PV cells from overheating.
Willson offers a with-software-designed solar system, having energy generation and consumption indicators.
PVT Solar Panel’s Standard Cost
The PVT systems with about 4kWp have a £10,000 installation cost.
That means the photovoltaic panels can cost about £5,000 to £8,000 each.
However, the cost depends on manufacturers, system capacity, added parts, and installers. Travel cost is also counted if possible.
